Finding the root cause: "I began my healthcare career in 2007 after earning my bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami, starting out in the emergency department at a local hospital. I now work as an autonomous nurse practitioner in primary care in Miami, Florida. I have been working in wellness and aesthetics since 2019, and I bring a strong passion for integrative medicine into every visit. I focus on understanding the full picture—not just symptoms, but what’s driving them."
Why midlife women matter: "I’ve always had a deep passion for women’s health. There’s still so much we don’t talk about, or research enough, when it comes to perimenopause and menopause. The hormonal changes during this time can affect every part of a woman’s life, from her relationships to her work to how she feels in her own body. Women deserve answers, validation, and care that truly addresses what they’re experiencing."
Getting her life back: "I once cared for a woman in her early 50s who was struggling with hot flashes, mood changes, fatigue, and brain fog. These symptoms were straining her relationships and impacting her work. Once we identified the hormonal imbalance and found the right plan for her, she felt whole again. Watching her reclaim her life was incredibly meaningful and reinforced why I do this work."
Listening as care: "When you actively listen, people are more inclined to share. By truly hearing and prioritizing each concern, I can tailor care that feels personal, realistic, and supportive. My hope is that every woman I meet at Midi feels heard and helped."
