Book a Visit with Me

A lifelong focus on women’s health: "I’ve known for a long time that I wanted a career in women’s health. While studying nursing at the University of Michigan, I volunteered as a birth doula before beginning my career as a labor and delivery nurse. I later returned to U of M to earn my master’s in nursing and became a nurse practitioner in an outpatient OB/GYN office, caring for women through infertility, pregnancy, postpartum care, sexual health, well-woman visits, and the menopause transition."

Closing a gap in care: "I joined Midi because there is a significant gap in care for women in midlife. Menopause care wasn’t part of my education, and I’ve seen firsthand how even experienced OB/GYNs have had to seek out additional education in this area. I’m excited to be part of a team that not only provides women with the care they need, but encourages them to talk openly about their health."

Listening is at the heart of care: "Every woman’s experience is unique. I want my patients to feel heard and understood, knowing that their symptoms can affect their daily lives in very different ways. I take a holistic approach to care beyond just medical management, considering the importance of nutrition, exercise, mental health, and good sleep."

Making space for women: "Most women spend their midlife putting others first. I’ve always found it rewarding to remind women that their own health and well-being matters, too. Outside of medicine, I love spending time with family and watching sports. My favorite outlet is being creative, and my home office even doubles as my sewing studio."
