Bridging gaps in healthcare: “I have been a family nurse practitioner for 30 years, 20 of them working with underserved and homeless communities. I have cared for all phases of the lifespan from neonatal to teenagers, menopausal women, and elderly internal medicine. I was so excited to discover Midi, and learn that there was a unique space to care for menopausal and perimenopausal women. I knew I had to apply.”
First, show up: “I’m there. I’m present. I listen and ask questions. I take a holistic approach to the body and mind. I don't push a treatment plan; I want to work together with each patient to identify solutions we’re comfortable with. We are a team.”
The rewards of midlife care: “We have answers now—we have tools that our mothers didn’t have. This new generation wants to actively participate in their health and search for answers. And I’m excited to be part of that.”
