Lifelong learning: “I started in healthcare back in 1990 as a CNA, earned my RN and bachelor’s by ’95, and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2002. Over the years, I added a master's in clinical psychology, a doctorate in integrative medicine, and certifications in functional medicine and legal nurse consulting. These broad experiences help me pull from both conventional and alternative approaches to create truly individualized plans.”
Trust your gut, always: “When I was 19, I started having strange symptoms that went undiagnosed for years, until I learned I had multiple sclerosis. Around the same time, my younger sister developed a rare neurological cancer. Those experiences taught me how hard it is to feel unheard in the medical system. Now, I really make it a point to listen because nobody knows your body better than you do.”
Looking at the bigger picture: “I specialize in cases where nothing seems to add up: When patients have been told everything’s fine but know deep down it’s not. I love helping people uncover the root causes of what they’re experiencing—physically, mentally, or spiritually. The body is complex, and we can’t afford to ignore any part of it.”
