From the ER to women’s health: "I began my nursing career in 2016 as an ER trauma nurse, where I spent six years caring for patients in fast-paced, high-acuity settings. In 2022, I moved into an advanced practice role and expanded my work into primary care and urgent care. I later earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice in leadership and administration in 2024. Throughout my training and clinical work, I was always drawn to women’s health and spent years doing independent research to better support the women in my life and the patients I care for."
A moment that stayed with me: "During my rotations in an OB/GYN office, I met women who broke down in tears describing how changes in their bodies and mood were affecting their quality of life, their confidence, and even their relationships. They were asking for help but had very limited options. Seeing that firsthand reinforced how many women feel unheard and unsupported during this stage of life."
Care that gives women their lives back: "At Midi, I’m able to focus fully on helping women understand what’s happening in their bodies and giving them real options to feel better. Women shouldn’t have to suffer through midlife changes; when they have the right care and information they can reclaim their energy, confidence, and quality of life. I'm excited for women to experience a different kind of menopause that is manageable and perhaps even 'fun'. "
