Women’s health at the heart: "I began my career in perinatology and maternal fetal medicine as a sonographer, where my fascination with women’s health first took shape. That curiosity led me into nursing, and in 2009 I started working as a high risk labor and delivery nurse. In 2015, I started working in reproductive endocrinology and fertility. Every step of my career has kept me closely connected to women during some of the most pivotal moments of their lives."
When nothing is ‘wrong’: "During a routine follow-up, a casual conversation turned into something more. A patient shared her frustration, sudden anger over small things, and memory lapses—and ended with, ‘I just don’t know what’s wrong with me.’ I told her nothing was wrong, she just hadn’t been given the right information. We talked, really talked, about what she was experiencing. She left feeling validated, understood, and with a plan to start helping her feel more like herself again. Moments like that remind me how powerful listening can be."
Education is empowerment: "While navigating my own menopause transition, I realized how little support women are given in midlife. I approach every patient as a whole person—helping not just to improve symptoms, but to truly enhance quality of life. My goal is for every patient to leave our visit knowing she matters, her experience is real, and that she has the knowledge to make decisions to live her best life. I want women to feel educated, empowered, and supported, because feeling truly understood is where lasting change begins."
