Compounded Formulation:

Tretinoin 0.05%, Tranexamic Acid 3%, Niacinamide 4%, Panthenol 3% Cream

Mechanism of Action:

• Tretinoin: A retinoid that increases skin cell turnover, reduces pigmentation, and improves texture
• Tranexamic Acid: Inhibits plasminogen activation, reducing melanocyte-stimulating factors and blocking UV-induced pigmentation
• Niacinamide: Anti-inflammatory; improves skin barrier function and reduces pigmentation by inhibiting melanosome transfer
• Panthenol: A provitamin of B5 that hydrates, improves elasticity, and promotes skin healing

Benefits:

• Reduces hyperpigmentation and evens skin tone
• Improves skin texture and brightness

Dosing:

• Apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry skin once daily, preferably at night.

Administration:

• Protect from heat and direct sunlight

Pregnancy:

• Not recommended due to tretinoin (pregnancy category C)

Breastfeeding:
