Support for all things hormonal: “As a Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Nurse Midwife with 26 years of experience, I’ve spent my career caring for women of all ages. From youth to post-menopause, women’s care is all about hormone changes. Midlife women seek to educate themselves and find solutions for maintaining energy, happiness, and a healthy lifestyle. Guiding them through hormonal changes for a better life is immensely fulfilling.”What a visit looks like: “My patients can expect me to be knowledgeable about their health history, allowing me to guide the visit efficiently and effectively. I help them develop realistic goals through compassionate listening, and I’m able to educate them in their areas of concern as well as direct them to resources. In follow-up visits, we review and update their goals to ensure progress.”Patient education and autonomy: “At the beginning of my career, women’s health studies were few and far between. As a result, high quality, evidence-based care was not always available. My care approach is informed by the advancements that have occurred over the past decades, and shaped by desire to support patient autonomy through education. I joined Midi to educate my patients on their options through evidence-based care.”
