Meet our team
Purpose from personal experience: “I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with nine years of experience in women’s health. While going through menopause, I saw numerous providers, including a rheumatologist and urgent care for a pulsating heartbeat. Many attributed my issues to stress. Eventually, I consulted a certified menopause specialist, armed with books, but was only offered birth control pills, leaving me deflated after waiting three months for the appointment. This experience has driven my commitment to ongoing education and supporting women in midlife.”
Care through the ages: “I’m passionate about addressing the unique needs of women across their lifespan. I enjoy meeting women where they are, providing education, and supporting them to improve their well-being. My focus on helping people feel better led me to Midi, where I work alongside those who are similarly dedicated to empowering women through midlife and helping them become the best version of themselves.”
Adapting to individual needs: “Guidelines are just that—guidelines. And just because something worked for one person doesn't mean it will work the same for someone else. Everyone is unique, and care must be individualized.”
A path to women’s health: “I became a nurse in 2007 and initially worked in various areas, including behavioral health and medical-surgical. I eventually focused on women’s health because I enjoyed teaching and supporting women. I pursued my Nurse Practitioner degree in women’s health, and since 2015, I have worked in breast health, supporting breast cancer patients, as well as general OB/GYN.”
Listening and validation: “I still remember hearing a patient say, Nobody else has ever believed me. It’s so important to tell women they’re not crazy for feeling like they’re sweating all day or can’t sleep. These issues stem from hormonal changes and can be managed, but many patients don’t receive the care they need during menopause.”
Your full picture: “During our visit, I want each patient to share their story. Everyone’s experience with menopausal symptoms is unique. As a clinician, I have to understand the patient’s medical history and symptoms, but also their lifestyle, what affects them the most, and their health goals. This approach will help us, together, craft a treatment plan that can end years of suffering.”
Grounded in women’s health: “I began my medical journey with a nursing degree from the University of Massachusetts. After years working in labor and delivery, I earned my Nurse Practitioner degree from Georgetown University. Since then, for more than 16 years, I have worked in women’s health caring for women of all ages and backgrounds.”
Understanding midlife challenges: “As a midlife woman myself, I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of perimenopause and menopause. In traditional medical settings, practitioners often do not have the time or expertise to comprehensively address our concerns. Since turning 40, I've made significant changes to my practice to offer more comprehensive care for women in midlife and support them through this transitional period.”
A complete wellness focus: “I don't just focus on the physical issue you come in with; I also consider lifestyle and mental health factors that might affect your overall well being. During your visit, I take the time to discuss all these aspects with you so that we can address your concerns comprehensively and create a tailored plan that suits your specific needs. My ultimate goal is to help women thrive during these years.”
Transforming women’s care through life’s stages: “I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 12 years, and prior to that I worked for years in labor and delivery. As I aged and practiced more, I noticed a decline in care for women post-pregnancy, particularly during perimenopause. Being there for patients, building trust and rapport, and offering support when others won’t has been incredibly fulfilling.”
Beyond treatment: “My care approach differs from some traditional providers because of my patience, active listening, organization, and unwavering positivity during visits. I am genuinely interested in building rapport, understanding the person’s story alongside addressing the immediate medical issues. Patients can expect my commitment, my joy in helping them, and my ongoing support beyond a single visit.”.
Excitement for the next chapter: “Women are resilient. We are amazing: We can go through pregnancy, give birth, and navigate postpartum… and that resilience does not stop at menopause! So many women feel defeated in midlife, feeling like their life is over and they have no option but to suffer through their symptoms. My favorite part of care is giving them a second life, that second wind under them.”
A focus on breast cancer: “I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of nursing experience. My entire career has been dedicated to oncology, with a special focus on breast cancer care. I have deep experience supporting breast cancer survivors navigate menopause symptoms with a unique set of challenges, including while on aromatase inhibitors or tamoxifen.”
Breaking the cycle of neglect: “As a young girl, I watched my mother go through menopause at age 35 after a hysterectomy. She received little guidance and felt powerless over symptoms that affected her life as a wife, mother, and colleague. My mission is to provide every woman with the education and support she needs to navigate menopause confidently. We all deserve the opportunity to thrive and live our best lives.”
No two women are the same: “Each has unique strengths, abilities, career aspirations, health goals, and priorities. Similarly, menopause symptoms vary from one person to another, and there is no one-size-fits-all treatment. As a clinician, I strive to create a personalized plan tailored to each individual.”
Your women’s health guide: “I am a nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience across primary care, oncology, diabetes management, and women’s health care. In my clinics, I was the go-to expert for all things hormones and women’s health. I am certified by FEMM, an organization dedicated to helping women understand their cycles and fertility. In addition, I am a certified health and nutrition coach, as well as a physical fitness coach.”
Personal experience + shared education: “Despite my deep immersion in women’s health, I was struck by my own lack of knowledge when I began experiencing menopause symptoms. I dove deep into research and literature to understand what’s going on in the body. I feel so lucky to share this information with other women, allowing them to feel empowered throughout this journey.”
Championing women's health literacy: “As a woman, clinician, and educator at two universities, my absolute passion is teaching women about their bodies and how to live well. Knowledge allows women to take control of their health, empowering them to take better care of themselves and those they care for.”
A career treating women: “I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner for over 13 years. I began my career in a small rural family medicine practice, but soon discovered my passion for women’s health. I worked with an OB/GYN for 12 years, specializing in women's health, particularly ages 40 and up.”
Compassionate listening, at last: “While caring for women in midlife, patients repeatedly came in reporting that their concerns had been dismissed or not taken seriously. A woman once told me that her male gynecologist had said that she felt tired, gained weight, and had low sex drive because she was over 40 and that was simply par for the course. This stuck with me because there is always something we can do. Women don’t have to accept these issues as normal; there are solutions.”
Patient centered collaboration: “My goal is to build a trusting relationship where patients feel heard, understood, and confident in our continuity of care. Together, we will build a treatment plan from the ground up that aligns with their concerns and goals.”
Years of trust-building: “I have been a practicing nurse for over 17 years, focusing on women's healthcare throughout my career. My journey began as a labor and delivery nurse for over a decade, before becoming a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. I strive to provide personalized care by building rapport with women, understanding that active listening and trust are keys to quality care.”
Constant education: “I consider myself a lifelong learner, especially in women’s healthcare. I'm passionate about expanding my knowledge by attending conferences, educational events, and reading literature. By staying informed and sharing this information with my patients, I can provide high quality care and allow patients to make informed decisions about their health.”
Wellness amidst change: “Women want to be heard and cared for, just as we care for others. Our value as women doesn't change with time, and the quality of our lives shouldn't diminish due to menopause or other natural changes. I’m here to help women recognize their worth and guide them to enhance their quality of life to achieve everything they desire—and more!”
Increasingly specialized: “I started my nursing career as a labor and delivery nurse almost 8 years ago. After graduate school, I worked as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in the National Health Service Corps, but for the past two years, I have narrowed my focus to women’s midlife health. I chose Midi to have the time and space to really specialize in caring for this often overlooked group of women.”
Meeting needs, holistically: “I was drawn to women’s health early on due to my grandmother, a retired nurse who inspired me to make my career in healthcare. My interest in menopause was sparked by the lack of education for both providers and patients. I love that midlife care combines so many aspects of wellness, from nutrition and cardiology to sleep hygiene.”
The time for comprehensive care: “The silver lining from COVID was introducing us all to telehealth, allowing patients and clinicians enough time to engage in meaningful conversation. In Midi’s telehealth visits, the patient is able to share their story, including symptoms, concerns, and how these impact their daily life. And listening carefully, we’re able to understand the full picture, guiding us on how best to move forward with treatment.”
Depth of experience: “I’ve worked in nursing for 15 years—the last five in internal medicine and endocrinology, focusing on underserved areas and rural health clinics. My specialties include hormone replacement therapy, endocrinology, and aesthetics.”
Beyond quick fixes: “My passion in healthcare is helping people achieve their best physical, emotional, and mental well-being by finding root causes for ailments instead of relying on quick fixes. I support patients throughout their journey, helping them find happiness and fulfillment. I chose Midi because we share a passion for women’s health and hormone optimization.”
The most rewarding part of midlife care: “Hearing how women regain their life, energy, libido, mood, and bone density is incredibly fulfilling. We have so many care options at our disposal today that we didn’t have even 10 years ago. I love my job because it allows me to educate women about the options available and help those who are suffering.”
Championing inclusive menopausal care: “I’ve been working as a nurse practitioner since 2012, focused on women’s health. My expertise centers around sexual and reproductive health, spanning genders and sexual orientations. My priority is to provide compassionate care and support to all individuals, fostering an environment where everyone feels heard and valued.”
Patient experience and clinician care: “I was diagnosed with type one diabetes as a child, more than 30 years ago. It influences every aspect of my life, necessitating constant blood sugar monitoring for every activity. My experiences as a patient have shaped my approach to medicine, emphasizing the importance of individualized care. At Midi, I’m thrilled to offer longer visits than you get in traditional settings, allowing crucial time to meet, learn about, and understand our patients.”
Amplifying my impact with Midi: “As I approach my own menopause transition, I am eager to contribute to filling a crucial gap in healthcare. By joining forces with fellow clinicians, I believe we can amplify our impact and provide better support for individuals navigating this stage of life.”
A midlife specialist: “I have been a Nurse Practitioner for 28 years, certified in family practice and women’s health. Recognizing menopause and perimenopause as some of the toughest times in women’s lives, I became a Certified Menopause Practitioner to help empower patients through that period.”
In sickness and in health: “In my decades of practice, I have had the opportunities to support women from various backgrounds, through various stages, in heart-wrenching and heartwarming moments. Developing an open and compassionate relationship with my patients allows me to provide support during hard times and celebrate their successes.”
Our time is your time: “Women spend so much time caring for others; It’s amazing to see women in midlife prioritizing their self care. During my time with my patients, it’s all about them. I want to hear them: their stories, their concerns, their issues, their symptoms. The best compliment I can get from my patients is them saying, ‘You get it, I feel heard.’ That’s how I know I’m doing my job.”
Hormone expertise: “I’m a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of experience, primarily in a traditional OB/GYN setting. My clinical focus is on hormonal changes across a woman’s lifespan, from adolescence to menopause, and how they affect overall well-being. I hold certifications in postpartum support and international advanced psychopharmacology prescribing. Additionally, I have advanced training in utilizing testosterone for treating perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms.”
This clinician’s motivation: “Before becoming a healthcare provider, I often accompanied my mother to her medical appointments. I vividly recall the rushed visits, her concerns dismissed, and the frustration of not finding the help she needed. This experience deeply influences my approach to patient care. I prioritize spending quality time with patients, ensuring they feel heard and understood, and collaboratively devising treatment plans tailored to their needs and symptoms.”
Joining the care revolution: “As a clinician, I’m passionate about revolutionizing healthcare to prioritize patient needs. I chose Midi because I’ve witnessed women in their forties and fifties dismissed by other providers, told their symptoms were just part of aging. I joined Midi because of their dedication to helping women thrive during this pivotal time.”
Giving women their lives back: “I’ve been a Family Nurse Practitioner for almost 10 years, starting in urology where I developed a passion for helping women with urological issues. This led me to specialize in women’s health for more than six years, focusing on hormone replacement therapy, menstruation, and menopause. I also completed a 10-month functional nutrition course, which expanded my understanding of diet’s impact on health. My passion lies in improving our care for women to help them reclaim their lives.”
Empathy-driven support: “The birth of my son profoundly influenced my career in caregiving. Despite a smooth pregnancy, complications necessitated an emergency C-section and a NICU stay. His special needs inspired my dedication to advocating for women’s health, ensuring their voices are heard and needs addressed. This motivates me to support women through pregnancy, menopause, and conditions like PCOS, providing tailored reassurance and guidance.”
Prioritizing you: “Women often serve as caregivers in their family, so prioritizing self-care positively affects everyone around them. Providing accessible healthcare through telehealth has been transformative for midlife women, allowing them to seek care conveniently. I love helping women put their care first, and understanding the impact this has on their communities.”
Called to women’s wellness: “I graduated from nursing school in 2005 and began working in labor and delivery, driven by my passion for women’s health. It was later in my career, after over four years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, that I decided to focus on women in midlife. A pivotal moment came when a patient told me how frustrating it was that her concerns had been consistently dismissed as a part of aging. Realizing the lack of proper care for women in midlife, I became determined to make a difference.”
A safe space for your health: “As a clinician, I’m committed to fostering a comfortable, safe environment where you can openly discuss your symptoms, needs, and preferences. I’ll strive to offer education, support, and empowerment for you to make the best health decisions.”
Navigating midlife together: “One of the most rewarding parts about caring for women in midlife is the relationships that we build with patients. It is incredibly fulfilling and immensely satisfying to be able to walk alongside a woman and witness her amazing growth and transformation, supporting her as she works towards a healthier, happier life.”
Step by step: “I have worked in women’s health for the past 12 years, the past four practicing as a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. I’m deeply passionate about women’s health care, everything from menstrual problems to menopausal symptoms. It’s incredibly rewarding to help women through their health challenges and witness how drastically their quality of life improves through simple changes.”
Listening, understanding, healing: “I’ve seen providers who push one-size-fits-all treatments, like birth control as the sole solution for menstrual problems. I believe in tailoring treatments to individual needs, as what works for one person may not work for another. By actively listening to my patients, understanding their goals and concerns, we can collaborate as a team to address their needs and goals effectively.”
Comfort + solutions: “Midlife women often feel vulnerable due to significant life changes, including hormonal shifts. Many express feeling overwhelmed or crazy, but it’s essential to reassure them that these feelings are normal. We can address their symptoms and provide support, letting them know it’s okay to seek help and that they don’t have to endure it alone.”
Grounded in women’s health: “I’ve been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for over six years and a registered nurse for more than 11 years. I hold a doctorate in nursing practice, specializing in osteoporosis research. My focus is on menopausal care for women, with certifications as a sexual assault nurse practitioner and sexual assault nurse examiner.”
Global reach: “My husband and I established a small orphanage in Malawi, Africa, and provided extensive care for women in nearby villages. Women in both Malawi and the United States often sacrifice their own well-being and self-care for their loved ones. My experiences caring for women globally have reinforced my passion for women’s health, and emphasized the need for women to prioritize their health and advocate for themselves.”
The importance of safe spaces: “Central to my practice is fostering a nonjudgmental atmosphere, crucial for women who may feel hesitant to discuss certain topics, particularly during menopause. Patients can expect me to listen attentively, address their needs, and establish a trusting relationship to guide them through their health journey.”
A true specialist: “I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner with eight years of experience. I began in gynecologic oncology, specializing in cancers below the waistline. There, I managed menopause symptoms alongside cancer treatment, before working in women’s urology and pelvic medicine. I have spent the past few years delving deeper into menopause care at a traditional OB/GYN practice.”
A new level of care: “I came to Midi to support women’s concerns that are so often dismissed. The training here surpassed my formal education in menopause treatment, and I’m grateful for the deep research Midi employs for women. With our evidence-based interventions, we can offer more than just surface-level solutions.”
Opening doors to honest conversations: “Patients can expect candid and open dialogue from me, welcoming as much as they would like and are willing to share. I want to know how we can make you happier, healthier, and more comfortable. I love to talk about mental health, sex and pleasure, self-care and self-confidence alongside symptoms in order to get a full picture of how to improve the patient’s well-being. From there, I am a fierce care advocate until my patient feels comfortable with their progress.”
Childbearing and what comes after: “I’ve been an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife for eight years now, specializing in women’s health since graduating nursing school in 2010. Starting in labor and delivery, I became a nurse midwife to provide comprehensive care to women beyond pregnancy, particularly addressing menopause and the needs of women with a history of breast cancer.”
Empathetic support, informed care: “Watching my mom undergo breast cancer treatment almost 13 years ago shaped my practice today. Alongside radiation and the physical changes, we encountered healthcare providers who lacked expertise in managing women’s health during cancer-induced early menopause. This experience prompted me to pursue an advanced practice degree eight years ago, and fueled my dedication to women’s care.”
Comprehensive education, nationwide: “I’m passionate about empowering women to take charge of their health and well-being. From pregnancy to menopause, I love helping women make informed healthcare decisions and alleviating their symptoms. Midi allows me to reach women across the country, providing them with specialized care and improving their quality of life.”
In it with you: “I’ve been a nurse for 12 years, specializing in women's health as a Family Nurse Practitioner for seven. I’ve always been a staunch advocate for women's rights and it was a natural transition for me to focus on women’s health care. My interest in menopausal care was sparked when I began to experience symptoms and realized the gaps in my education regarding perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause.”
Always learning: “As a former school teacher who transitioned to nursing later in life, education holds significant importance to me. I’m deeply passionate about both imparting information to patients and continuously learning myself. I believe it’s crucial for all women to receive the education necessary to navigate life transitions confidently. My aim is to empower women to advocate for their healthcare, reject resignation to aging, embrace tools for thriving, and growth during this stage of life.”
What care looks like: “In a visit with me, patients can expect to be heard, feel mutual trust, and engage in transparent communication. My goal is to provide evidence-based care recommendations and engage in shared decision-making during each visit.”
Support through the journey: “Early on in my medical career, I discovered my passion for women’s health. My professional experience since then has been devoted to caring for women at every stage of life, including more than five years as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.”
A different way to practice: “During my adolescence and young adulthood, there were numerous occasions when I didn’t feel heard by healthcare providers. This left me feeling like I lacked a safe space to voice my questions or concerns. These experiences have profoundly influenced me as a healthcare provider. It’s crucial to me that every patient interaction fosters a sense of being heard, understood, and supported.”
Understanding the whole woman: “I recognize the interconnectedness between physical symptoms and emotional well-being. In my approach to care, I prioritize addressing all aspects of women holistically. I dedicate time and space to exploring how each symptom may influence another, and how this collective impact affects the patient’s overall quality of life. That understanding helps me find the right solutions.”
Three decades of nursing: “I'm a Family Nurse Practitioner with 35 years of nursing experience in various settings, from schools to hospitals. I started as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, transitioned to urgent care, and then opened my own functional medicine practice specializing in IV therapy, weight loss, and hormone replacement.”
Empathy into action: “I was amazed by the number of women who came to me struggling with symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, painful intercourse, weight gain, and joint pain. Many had seen multiple physicians, with their family doctors referring them to OB/GYNs who often avoided hormone replacement therapy. Witnessing their frustration firsthand, I recognized a pressing need for support.”
Providing real relief: “As a middle-aged woman, I empathize deeply with those experiencing menopause challenges and am eager to assist them. Menopause is an intense transition, and the support that we can provide at Midi is really life changing for these women.”
Caring for those who care: “I began my medical journey as a nurse, and in 2015, I earned a master’s in nursing with dual certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. With nine years of practice, I joined Midi to support midlife women who often give much to others but need someone to care for them. It’s a crucial transition period in their lives, requiring attentive listening and practical solutions.”
What we all need: “Experiencing healthcare as a patient, particularly during childbirth, profoundly influenced the care I provide today. It showed me firsthand the importance of a close relationship with one’s healthcare provider. Every woman deserves a provider who listens, cares, and takes extra time to meet their medical needs.”
Learning together: “I take pride in breaking down complex medical information into understandable terms, fostering relationships with patients through education. This allows patients to make informed decisions about their healthcare, always with my guidance and support.”
My hormone journey: “I have been a practicing Nurse Practitioner for 19 years, and I’m at Midi because I’m excited to help people manage hormonal changes. 10 years ago, I was experiencing fatigue, insomnia, hot flashes, mood swings, and gaining belly fat. I began seeing specialists, devouring information, and pursuing certifications in integrative and functional medicine. I can’t believe how much my life has changed from balancing my hormones, and I am so genuinely excited to help other women do the same.”
Joy in purpose: “I am so grateful to pursue my passion professionally. The work I do fills me with joy and purpose; it’s hard to imagine doing anything else. What drives me is the ability to truly make a difference in people’s lives, not just by prescribing medication, but by actively contributing to their well-being. By removing barriers to care at Midi, we empower busy individuals to prioritize their health and well-being.”
Together towards wellness: “My unique care approach prioritizes active listening. Collaboration is key in our shared decision-making process, and hinges on your comfort and ability to openly share your experiences.”
Helping where it’s needed most: “I am a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with seven years of NP experience specializing in women’s care. Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by the opportunity to address the gaps and disparities in women’s health, knowing that I can make a difference.”
Care that feels like home: “I strive to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere in my visits, where patients feel safe to share as well as receive expert advice. I excel in listening and finding solutions, making sure every patient I see feels heard, cared for, and confident in their health decisions. The prospect of providing care for menopause, perimenopause, and other related health topics in a comfortable environment is incredibly rewarding to me.”
Woman-centered: “What I’ve learned over the years is that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Each woman is unique and has her own set of needs. So, when it comes to treating patients, especially in menopause, it requires a tailored approach that takes into consideration individual lifestyles, goals, and needs.”
Supportive specialist: “I’ve loved women’s health since my first nursing job in 2014. With a decade of experience in medicine, joining Midi was a natural choice because of its wide-reaching impact on women’s health during perimenopause and menopause. These phases are a significant portion of a woman’s life, and I’m thrilled to contribute to empowering women through all their hormonal changes.”
The impact of positivity: “My decision to become a Nurse Practitioner was deeply influenced by my father’s battle with cancer when I was 23. Witnessing the profound impact his healthcare team had on his well-being shaped my care approach. I am committed to providing uplifting care to my patients, aiming to be a source of inspiration, connection, and motivation in their lives.”
Care beyond symptoms: “Working with midlife women is immensely rewarding due to the lasting connections formed and the holistic support provided. By addressing physical symptoms like hot flashes and mood swings, we’re also improving emotional, personal, and professional well-being. Women know their own bodies and I can help them further understand how to feel their best as we collaborate on treatment plans.”
A career in female health: “With dual certifications as a Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Nurse Midwife, my focus for the past 32 years has always been on providing comprehensive care to women. When patients visit me, they can expect genuine compassion, dedication, and a commitment to going above and beyond to ensure their well-being.”
Above and beyond: “My motto is to go out of your way for your patients. I always try to take the extra step to make sure my patients feel appreciated and cared for. I have been known to send birthday cards to my patients as reminders for them to have their colonoscopies! I really enjoy building relationships with my patients, and find caring for them to be immensely gratifying.”
You’re an expert, too: “I can learn just as much from my patients as they can from me. They often share valuable insights, ideas, and suggestions based on their own experiences or those of others. It’s crucial to listen entirely to your patients—they know their bodies best.”
Tailored care for every woman: “I’ve been a nurse for 14 years, with seven years as a Nurse Practitioner. I began in primary care and later specialized in family planning, offering contraception and treating issues like heavy periods and STIs. I am passionate about evidence-based and personalized care. I listen attentively to my clients’ health concerns and preferences, providing tailored recommendations to help them reach their health goals.”
Curious care: “I’m a good listener, both methodical and curious. I will ask a lot of questions to fully understand what is going on medically and what is important to the patient. I will support her to find evidence-backed solutions that align with her preferences.”
Access and agency: “Working with women at midlife involves building relationships, educating on options, and shared decision-making. I have so many examples of how transformative this can be. Working as a primary care provider, I cared for a woman who lacked medical access for many years. We developed a long term care plan to address her numerous concerns over time. Her improved health and increased agency highlighted the importance of relationship-based care and consistent support in addressing health issues.”
A career in women’s health: “For nearly two decades, I’ve served as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, holding both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in nursing. I was initially drawn to midwifery, but found fulfillment in caring for and empowering women in clinical settings. Nursing offers the flexibility to evolve, leading me to diverse roles including patient education, mentoring nursing students, community and private practice, and administrative positions in nursing education programs.”
Nursing with heart: “When I found myself hospitalized, the compassion, support, and care offered by a particular nurse deeply touched me. It wasn’t just her professionalism; it felt like being looked after by a sister or a close family member. I approach my work every day with a sense of connection and empathy, treating each patient as if they were a part of my own family.”
A personal philosophy: “My practice revolves around three foundational elements: relationship building, continuous education, and transparency. These principles stem from my belief in our interconnectedness, which guides my perspective. I’m deeply passionate about empowering women in both personal and professional spheres, fostering encouragement and support. This mission aligns with Midi’s, which is why I’m here.”
Versatile experience: “I’ve been in medicine since 2008, spending 11 years in a critical care ICU before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018. From birth to geriatrics, critical care to primary care, and home health to telehealth, I’ve honed a diverse set of skills and approaches to enrich the care I provide to each patient.”
Forging relationships: “When I began working in medicine, I found myself in a fast-paced environment where I had limited time with each patient. I struggled to forge genuine connections and deliver the quality care I believed in. What drives me now at Midi is the opportunity to truly invest time in understanding individuals beyond their symptoms, and to make a tangible difference in their lives.”
Empowerment through options: “As life progresses, changes occur, and it can be disheartening to feel like you’re losing control over your body and energy. It’s truly gratifying to offer options that restore a sense of well-being and help patients reclaim what feels lost.”
Love at first visit: “I have worked in nursing for 24 years, the past 13 as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. I knew I wanted to work in women’s care after my first ever gynecologist visit, where I became inspired by my clinician’s holistic approach, dedication, and respect for autonomy. Now, I emulate those values in my practice, striving to make uncomfortable situations comfortable and honoring each woman’s agency.”
The whole picture: “One of my superpowers lies in my ability to think systemically. By talking with patients and adopting a holistic approach to care, I can look at all the moving pieces that contribute to their well being. We can discuss actionable steps that fit their lifestyles and get them to their goals.”
Reaching far and wide: “In healthcare, we’re at a fascinating crossroads, ripe with opportunities for new approaches. I was particularly drawn to the vision and mission of Midi, which prioritizes education and support for an overlooked demographic of women. Being involved in this care revolution feels incredibly rewarding, with the potential to impact the lives of women across the country.”
From labor to lifelong care: “I began my journey as a nurse nearly 20 years ago. My first role out of nursing school was as a Labor and Delivery Nurse, where I spent nine years, but I wanted to continue working with women at every phase, so I pursued further education to become a Nurse Practitioner. For the past 11 years, I’ve been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and have been passionately serving in this capacity.”
Walking along with you: “I was once told that I would grow alongside my patients, and that turned out to be absolutely true. As I’ve aged alongside the patient groups I care for, I’ve encountered many of the same issues they face, helping me empathize and provide tailored support to them. My journey has become not only one of personal growth but also a commitment to better serve those under my care.”
Evidence-based care: “With access to better data and the support of science, empowering women with medical information is crucial. The most rewarding aspect is witnessing the tangible results: Knowing that we can enhance their quality of life, extend their lifespan, and ultimately make them feel truly understood.”
Holistic care, informed by experience: “I’m a California-based Family Nurse Practitioner with 10 years of experience specializing in women’s prediabetes and diabetes treatment, as well as weight management. During my NP program at Yale University, I pursued an intensive year-long training on diabetes management. Drawing from 20 years as a yoga practitioner and teacher, I offer a holistic approach to health.”
Establishing a bond: “I lead with curiosity, compassion, and creativity. Establishing a respectful therapeutic relationship is crucial, prioritizing active listening and engaging with a woman’s story. I help her envision her ideal health and support her innate trust in her body and worth. Helping women prioritize their care and appreciate their bodies, especially in midlife, is a passion of mine.”
Here for you: “Women often take care of their families and their care gets pushed to the sidelines. I cherish being part of moments where women can freely share their experiences and get the support they need.”
Specializing in midlife: “Over the course of my career, my focus has shifted from obstetrics, STD screening, and contraception to midlife care, evolving alongside my patients. In 2007, I became a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, focusing on hormone therapy at an OB/GYN clinic for 14 years. In 2019, I gained certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to incorporate mental health into my practice.”
It starts with optimism: “One of my professional passions lies in caring for people, not merely as I would wish to be treated, but as I would treat my loved ones. This ethos has always guided my clinical practice. What truly excites me about my work is instilling hope in women that their symptoms can be managed, and providing solutions that show them they’re not confined by the challenges they face.”
Centering yourself: “Many women in menopausal or perimenopausal stages have long prioritized caring for others—elderly parents, spouses, or children. When they prioritize self-care, they often feel guilty about it. I support women in embracing self-care, alleviating midlife symptoms, and enhancing overall wellness by reducing stress levels.”
Through ages and stages: “I am a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in the field. Since graduating from nursing school, I’ve dedicated my career to delivering exceptional care for women across their lifespan. As a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with a comprehensive understanding of women’s unique healthcare needs, I specialize in addressing perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms.”
Always individualized: "Women in midlife and beyond undergo significant physical and emotional changes. As a Nurse Practitioner, I am committed to providing holistic care that addresses your diverse needs and supports your overall well-being. You can count on me to listen attentively to your concerns, and together we will develop a personalized plan that aligns with your needs and lifestyle.”
A long term commitment: “I love caring for women in midlife and beyond because these women possess so much resilience and wisdom. They teach me valuable lessons in compassion, advocacy, competence, and self-care. I love forming enduring relationships with my patients, serving as a consistent source of support and guidance throughout her treatment.”
Addressing the whole person: “My journey in medicine began in OB/GYN, where I spent 17 years caring for women of all ages. Over the years, I became increasingly aware of conventional medicine’s limitations. I completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine and certification in Functional Medicine. And, in 2020, I wrote and published ‘Physician, Care for Thyself,” a book to empower women to take control of their health and lead vibrant lives.”
A self-care realization: “I had my children during my fourth-year residency and first year of private practice, while working full-time. This period was marked by stress, lack of sleep, and relational issues. Implementing lifestyle changes and delving into integrative and functional medicine transformed my well-being. Recognizing the importance of nutrition, exercise, stress management, and sleep, I now prioritize these aspects in patient care.”
Sharing in the journey: “The most rewarding part of caring for women in midlife is being there for them as they navigate a familiar journey. When they’re tired, unwell, or struggling with mood, cognition, sleep, or body image, it affects their ability to thrive. Witnessing their transformation as they regain their confidence and ability to show up for themselves and their loved ones is gratifying.”
Bridging care gaps: “My nursing journey began in 2013, transitioning to labor and delivery in 2015, where my passion for women’s health ignited. I’ve been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2019, specializing in women’s health. Over the years, I’ve worked in various women’s health and reproductive care settings, and I repeatedly noticed menopause concerns go overlooked. Driven by a desire to address gaps in patient care, I joined Midi to advocate for all women navigating this transition.”
Breaking taboos through open dialogue: “Many patients feel uncomfortable discussing menopausal issues, whether because of stigma or past experiences with clinicians. I reassure my patients that it’s a natural phase of life and that they don’t have to endure it silently. Creating a welcoming, non-judgmental atmosphere encourages them to discuss any issues openly.”
Listening is key: “There’s no universal solution applicable to every patient. Each individual is entirely unique. Responses to treatments can vary significantly from one person to another. Some may prefer a holistic approach over Western medicine. Actively listening is crucial in order to tailor these treatments to the patient.”
Expertise in the overlooked: “I’m a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, specializing in neural gynecology, bladder and vaginal health, and intimacy and pelvic pain. I address complex gynecological conditions often overlooked by traditional providers. With Midi, I am thrilled to apply my deep experience in these and many other overlooked areas to midlife women, who commonly experience hormone-related symptoms such as decreased sexual desire and vaginal dryness.”
Championing healthcare equity: “As a mother of two, I recognize the systemic neglect and mistreatment faced by women, particularly women of color, in healthcare. Following a postpartum hemorrhage during the birth of my first child, I was transferred from a home birth to a hospital where I encountered judgment and underwent stitches without proper consent or anesthesia. While I had expertise to advocate for myself, many women do not and can be mistreated or undertreated by the healthcare system.”
Educating for success: “Everything I do is in service of education. An educated patient is going to be most prepared for success. I spend a lot of time teaching patients about their symptoms and how everything is connected so that they can understand their bodies better and advocate for themselves in all their health care experiences.”
A global health journey: “I began my medical journey in Nigeria before transferring to Windsor University School of Medicine in St. Kitts and Nevis, where I graduated in 2011. I completed my residency in June 2018, and have practiced as an internist treating patients for the past six years. I’ve specialize in pulmonary conditions, diabetes, and general health improvement. I am certified by the American Medical Association and the American Board of Internal Medicine.”
Informed and involved: “My goal is for patients to leave our visit well-informed about their healthcare journey. I ensure my patients understand their conditions, using illustrations and diagrams to explain everything clearly. Together, we discuss options and decide on a treatment plan.”
Why she chose Midi: “It’s rewarding to be part of something exemplary, catering to a long-ignored demographic. I’m excited to educate people on health care options that may have been ignored by other providers. Caring for women is a passion of mine, especially since I come from a region where women are often treated as second-class citizens. I ensure every patient of mine receives the utmost respect and care.”
Expanding from childbirth: “I began my nursing career in maternity, witnessing the resilience of women and their bond with their children. This experience inspired me to go back to school, and I have now worked as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for over 15 years. I’ve provided OB/GYN and primary care, focusing on teenagers, reproductive-age women, and those in the menopause transition.”
A typical success story: “One patient comes to mind, a woman in her 50s presenting low libido, depression, and fears about her relationship due to physical symptoms hindering her desire for intimacy. Her symptoms were impacting her physically, emotionally, and in her relationship. Together, we explored treatment options, and after three months, she came back reporting significant improvement across the board, noting that she’d had referred me to all of her friends.”
Knowledge is power: “I’m passionate about empowering women with both knowledge and tools for their health, particularly through preventive measures. Through evidence based care, I help them understand what lies ahead, what’s possible, and how to navigate their health without complications.”
Care like I’m your family: “I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner for over 15 years, specializing in women’s health across the lifespan. Inspired by the care my grandfather received during his illness when I was in high school, I knew I wanted to work in healthcare, and I’ve dedicated myself to compassionate clinical practice.”
Peri/menopausal partner: “During a visit with me, you can expect a comprehensive review of your health history. I strive to be a truly caring clinician, which means listening to your experiences throughout your perimenopausal and menopausal journey. Together, we’ll collaborate on a treatment plan tailored to your health history, ensuring it’s safe and designed to enhance your quality of life along this path.”
Solution-oriented: “The most rewarding aspect of tending to midlife women is witnessing the impact of simple solutions, alleviating symptoms often in a short time frame. Every one of us deserves a quality of life that allows for enjoyment with friends and family, and energy for everything we want to achieve.”
A transformative moment: “I've been a board-certified Women’s Health nurse practitioner for a decade, specializing in midlife women’s health along with prenatal and postpartum care, gynecology, reproductive health, weight management, and primary care. My journey into women’s health was truly born out of my own birthing experience: The support I received from my Nurse Practitioner and OB/GYN in such a vulnerable moment inspired me to dedicate my life and career to women’s care.”
Speak your truth: “Often, women are made to believe that their health concerns are burdens they must bear alone. My mission is to ensure every woman receives the care and attention she deserves at every life stage. It’s fulfilling when I help a patient feel heard and make a tangible impact, improving her quality of life.
Co-creating wellness: “In my care, listening comes first. My priority is ensuring patients feel heard and understood. I aim to meet them where they are, fostering shared decision-making. I educate patients about their conditions, empowering them to make informed choices about their health and honoring their autonomy.”
Experience and education: “I’ve been a Family Nurse Practitioner for five years and a nurse for 13 years. As a lifelong learner, I graduated with a master’s in nursing, specializing in family practice, in 2018. In 2021, I returned to school to pursue a doctorate in nursing practice. I have extensive experience in obesity medicine and bioidentical hormone therapy.”
Sharing knowledge: “My care philosophy blends evidence-based practice and compassion to deliver high-quality care. I ensure my patients clearly understand their diagnoses to become partners in their treatment plans.”
Time to focus on you: “Women are the foundation of families and communities. Often, they prioritize others’ health over their own, neglecting routine care due to demanding jobs or busy schedules with children and parents. In our visits, patients can expect that I’ll help them put their health first.”
Helping women age gracefully: “I’ve been in health care for 27 years, and this year marks my tenth as a Nurse Practitioner. I have experience in family medicine, internal medicine, and a specialized focus on hormone replacement therapy. I’m passionate about HRT and dedicated to helping women feel their best and age gracefully.”
Empathy born from experience: “Feeling unheard, personally, in the healthcare system has significantly influenced the kind of provider I am today. When a patient comes to see me, they can expect a caring, compassionate, attentive, and thorough provider.”
Celebrating success: “The most rewarding part of caring for women is their follow-up visit when they report significant symptom improvement. They’re sleeping better, have more energy, improved libidos, better digestion, weight loss, no hair loss, and no breast tenderness. Knowing they feel better, are thriving, and passing on healthy habits to their families is incredibly fulfilling.”
Support through change: “With more than 14 years of experience in healthcare, I joined Midi to support womens through the transformative phases of menopause and perimenopause. These transitional periods can significantly impact all aspects of women’s lives, and I aim to provide tailored guidance to help them maintain strength and well-being throughout.”
Modern solutions for every woman: “I prioritize personalized care tailored to each woman’s unique needs. We will all go through this change at some point, but we do not have to suffer like our mothers and grandmothers did. Drawing from advancements in medical understanding and a commitment to holistic wellness, I strive to empower women to navigate menopause with dignity and comfort.”
Your care confidant: “Caring for a midlife woman is deeply rewarding. It allows me to develop a meaningful connection with my patient as I become a trusted confidant in their journey through this pivotal stage of life. It’s a chance to provide guidance, validation, and empathy, helping them navigate challenges and embrace new opportunities with greater confidence and resilience.”
Passion, mission, and career: “I have been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for seven years and a Registered Nurse for about 12. My entire career has been dedicated to women’s health, because it’s both my passion and specialty. I chose Midi because I believe women, particularly those in rural areas with limited access to healthcare, are part of an underserved population. Midi’s mission to support these women is inspiring, and I am proud to be a part of it.”
Showing up differently: “One of the most common complaints I hear from women is that they don’t feel heard by providers. They want someone to listen and relate to what they’re going through. I’m passionate about being that person for them.”
Inclusive care: “When I see patients, they can expect me to listen to their concerns attentively and without judgment. I prioritize involving them in their care plans, ensuring they have a voice in their treatment.”
Finding my calling: “I have been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for 14 years. After working as an ICU nurse caring for gynecologic oncology patients, I discovered my passion for women’s health. About a year and a half ago, I completed my certification with the Menopause Society, allowing me to provide specialized care to underserved midlife women.”
Moved by patient experience: “Early into specializing in menopause, a woman came to see me who was devastated by her symptoms. She was tearful, anxious, and upset during our visit, feeling that two previous providers had dismissed her concerns and offered little support. This encounter underscored for me the significant need for empathetic listening and effective menopause management. It reinforced my commitment to support women through this journey.”
Expanding access to quality care: “At Midi, I’m excited to improve access to patient care through telehealth, providing a platform for women to get the care they often can’t find locally. With this life changing care available for women nationwide, we can ensure women have the right tools for menopause, perimenopause, and everything they face in midlife.”
A lifelong calling: “I grew up surrounded by family members in medicine, fascinated by the science of the human body. Starting as a nursing assistant, I cherished improving patients’ quality of life, which inspired me to become a Registered Nurse and later a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have experience in many care settings, from family practice to post-op ICU for open heart surgery patients.”
Healthcare is everyone’s right: “I am particularly passionate about expanding access to care. I worked for years in rural and frontier settings, where people often had to drive two hours over mountain passes in the middle of winter for appointments. I am excited that Midi ensures quality virtual care is accessible for women across the country.”
Juggling it all: “Women truly are the backbone of families, companies, and communities. They are constantly balancing tasks every hour of every day, and they excel at it. However, when little pieces become more challenging in midlife, it can be very frustrating. Knowing that there are experts who understand what you are going through, who are there to listen and help, is incredibly important.”
Nursing roots: “I have proudly served as a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner since 2018. My passion for nursing began at age eight when I received my first stethoscope from my mother, also a Nurse Practitioner. From my first day in the clinic, I knew that I was exactly where I was meant to be. With experience in Labor and Delivery and as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Women’s Health, I prioritize holistic, individualized care to ensure each patient gets the attention they deserve.”
In it with you: “I see myself as a supporting cast member in my patients’ healthcare journey. I emphasize listening and gathering information. Our collaboration is like painting a picture together. It’s not about me dictating what needs to be done; rather, it’s about us coming together to determine the best course of action for each individual.”
Mission #1: “We often neglect ourselves while caring for others, including family, children, and partners. My joy in caring for women lies in being their cheerleader, gently reminding them that self-care is essential. My life's purpose is to help women become the best version of themselves.”
Providing what’s needed: “I’m a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly seven years of experience and 25 years as a labor and delivery nurse. The turning point in my career came when I reached the age of 50 and began experiencing hot flashes. Thankfully, my primary care doctor listened to my concerns and initiated estrogen therapy, which drastically improved my quality of life. I joined Midi to provide this life changing care to women nationwide.”
Why I love midlife care: “Working with women in menopause enables me to witness transformative improvements in my patient’s lives. Treating symptoms has more than a physical impact, and can greatly enhance daily functioning, job performance, and sleep quality. Witnessing these changes reaffirms my dedication to midlife women’s health care.”
Care designed for each patient: “I’m passionate about ensuring women feel heard and treated respectfully. For too long, women have been disregarded by the medical system, their hormonal experiences dismissed. It’s crucial to me that women’s voices are valued, and we address their concerns by providing tailored support. Every woman’s journey is unique, so it’s essential to listen attentively and collaborate on personalized solutions.”
Wowed by women: “I’ve been a certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2006, and I’ve spent the entirety of my career specializing exclusively in women’s health. Why did I decide to focus on women’s health? Two compelling reasons: First, I think what our bodies do over a lifespan is completely awe inspiring. And two, I love working with women because they are brutally honest and fierce.”
Fully knowing a patient: “Over the years, women have entrusted me with very personal and difficult experiences, allowing me to be their confidant through so many health journeys. I know, as a woman, that whatever is going on in their personal lives can impact their physical and mental health. Especially in menopause, physical, mental, and emotional symptoms are very interconnected, and you cannot understand one without the others.”
A journey to better care: “Many of my patients have been with me for years and are now navigating perimenopause and menopause. I’m thrilled to join Midi because it offers a patient-centric platform and holistic approach that enables me to serve this entire midlife demographic more effectively.”
Two decades of dedication: “I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner for nine years and a Registered Nurse for 21 years, specializing in sexual and reproductive health and hormone care. I volunteer at a residential treatment facility health clinic and am certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.”
Balancing act: “Menopause is a significant time in our lives, coinciding with when we feel the most demands from work and our families, with kids, and aging parents. We are truly expected to show up for everyone. However, to be able to do that, we must also take care of ourselves. Midi’s mission resonates with me as it helps women prioritize their own health and well-being.”
My care philosophy: “My practice framework is patient-centered, recognizing that each person is an innate expert of their own body. I am here to listen, provide support, and offer evidence-based recommendations for safe and effective care. My goal is for patients to leave each visit feeling heard and having a clear path to achieve their health goals.”
Navigating hormonal changes: “I'm a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of nursing experience, primarily in women’s services. Starting in labor and delivery, I got my master’s to delve deeper into women's health across the lifespan. Recently, I worked in reproductive endocrinology where I gained expertise in hormones and menstrual cycle variations. Now, specializing in midlife women’s health brings me immense joy and fulfillment, especially as I navigate this life stage myself.”
Learning from personal experience: “I strive to care for patients with the same love and kindness that I would provide a family member. As a patient, I have experienced being dismissed or overlooked. This only fuels my commitment to be a better provider, listening to their concerns and honoring their autonomy.”
To those struggling: “When I first learned about Midi, I knew I wanted to join this dynamic team focused on supporting women, especially those who are feeling lost, broken, or alone during midlife. We are ready to assist you in making your journey through midlife more manageable, and hopefully, even enjoyable.”
Passion in every role: “Right out of high school, I worked as a Nursing Assistant for five years. After nursing school, I worked as a travel nurse, gaining diverse experience across hospitals, patients, and every unit you could imagine. For the past siz years, I have worked as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in family medicine, internal medicine, and alternative functional medicine. Caring is my passion, and I look forward to caring for you too.”
A powerful conversation: “I’m passionate about finding solutions that both patients and I agree on. A patient can expect their visit with me to be thorough, ensuring I understand their concerns wholly through open communication. This way, we maintain transparency with one another.”
Care for you: “A lesson I've learned while caring for women is that you can never assume you know what's going on based on their age or life stage. Every patient is different, and it’s crucial to treat them as such. I chose Midi because they prioritize individualized care for all cases, moving away from cookie cutter solutions.”
A dozen years in care: “I have 12 years of experience in medicine, with the first four years as a nurse specializing in women’s health, including OB/GYN, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. For more than eight years, I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner exclusively in reproductive health, treating women from early adolescence through midlife and beyond.”
Bridging the knowledge gap: “Accompanying my stepmom to appointments throughout her breast cancer journey taught me the importance of patient education. Many providers failed to clearly explain her diagnosis, symptoms, and treatment plan to her. Each patient has different levels of understanding and health literacy, and I make it a priority to meet them where they are so they can understand their care, their bodies, and their treatment options.”
Treatment for now and later: “Our goal is to create a treatment plan that addresses both immediate and long-term needs. Using a collaborative approach, I ensure my patients receive the care they need and feel confident in improving their health and quality of life with our jointly made plan.”
In it together: “I’ve been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for 15 years, drawn to the field by my labor and delivery experience as a registered nurse. While I now specialize in menopause, my career has spanned OB/GYN clinics, operating room assistance, and pelvic health. Women’s health has my heart: I love being deeply connected to my patients, sharing the stages of womanhood.”
Empathy in every visit: "Women want to be heard and to feel cared for; they don't want to be just another appointment on the schedule. Their menopausal concerns can be difficult to discuss openly, and this often leads them to delay seeking the care they need. That’s why I'm thrilled to be part of Midi, where women can receive the attention they deserve, in the comfort and privacy of their own homes, and without unnecessary delays."
The midlife myth: “Many women come to me having been convinced that the changes they're experiencing are just a natural part of aging, and they must simply endure them. Hearing this repeatedly has driven me to ensure none of my patients feel this sense of resignation.”
Becoming a mom, and a midwife: “My nursing career began as a Registered Nurse in a cardiac unit twelve years ago. The birth of my first child inspired me to go back to school for my master’s in nursing to become a Certified Nurse Midwife, and later my postmasters certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I’ve worked in various specialties, including family medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and home health, but my heart absolutely lies in women’s healthcare.
No woman left behind: “I’m passionate about offering top-notch care to women of all ages. While menstruation and childbirth are celebrated milestones, menopause can leave women feeling forgotten. I’m excited to share my expertise and support during this significant life transition. I chose Midi because of its commitment to women’s well-being, aligning perfectly with my own mission.”
Open communication: “As a clinician, I am down to earth and enjoy building rapport with my patients. I speak to each individual directly, ensuring they feel comfortable asking any questions without embarrassment. Transparency is key in my practice.”
An evolving midlife focus: “My medical career began in 2008 as a nurse working in gynecological oncology, where I developed a passion for women’s health. Since 2013, I've worked as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, specializing initially in fertility. But I’ve increasingly focused on menopausal care over the past five years and I’m currently working towards certification as a menopause specialist.”
Care for vulnerable moments: “Whether I’m helping with a Pap smear or hot flashes, women’s health is such an intimate specialty. I realized firsthand the importance of compassionate care in my own infertility journey. After three years of visiting fertility specialists, it wasn’t until we found a provider who truly listened and cared that we felt supported. Being able to create that safe space for women is so gratifying.”
Part of a sea change: “Women haven’t been cared for the right way for so long. We finally have this chance to turn that corner and make a difference. It’s time that they feel heard and get the care they need and deserve.”
Supporting you: “I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with five years of experience in women’s health, which is my absolute passion. I love taking care of women and providing valuable information that makes a significant difference in their lives. I have experience in hormone replacement therapy, and my goal is to continue empowering women in healthcare at Midi.”
Trust and reliability: “When my mom was hospitalized, her care team was amazing—compassionate and knowledgeable. This experience motivated me to go to nursing school and continue my education as a nurse practitioner. I want to be that person for my patients, for them to rely on and trust me, knowing that I’m there for them and have the knowledge and ability to provide the care they need.”
Learning together: “I love explaining to women how our bodies work. So many changes occur in women’s bodies that often go unexplained, and I enjoy being the person who can educate women about these transitions and offer support to improve their lives.”
The payoff of improvement: “I have been a Nurse Practitioner since 2015, specializing in gynecology, obesity medicine, and hormone replacement therapy using bioidentical hormones. I’m passionate about empowering and educating my patients to improve their overall health. As we age, our bodies change, and I find joy in helping my patients discover that lifestyle changes, medication, or supplements can make a significant difference.”
True midlife support: “As I have gotten older myself, I have witnessed firsthand how having the right information and a supportive team can lead to empowerment and overall well-being. I chose to work with Midi because of their passion for women’s health and their commitment to educating this population.”
The outcomes you want: “One of the most rewarding aspects of caring for midlife women is restoring their joy and energy. Menopause and midlife issues present so differently in all patients, and it’s especially vital to listen to women to understand their lifestyle, symptoms, and goals.”
Care for all women: “I’ve been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for six years in OB/GYN offices, providing care for women from adolescence through menopause and beyond. My experience encompasses a wide range of gynecological and obstetrical care. I am particularly passionate about education and counseling, guiding patients to make the best decisions for their health and well-being.”
A listener from the start: “I believe that some of the smallest experiences with patients have had the biggest impact in shaping my career. Early on, I had a patient who was really nervous about her appointment. At the end, she said, ‘Thank you for taking the time with me and for listening.’ This moment has always stayed with me, reminding me of the importance of making patients feel heard and respected.”
Sharing effective solutions: “The most rewarding part of caring for midlife women is the availability of safe and effective treatments for menopause challenges. I emphasize patient education in every visit because when patients understand their symptoms, we can develop the best plan together. It’s fulfilling to help patients find relief from symptoms that significantly impact their quality of life.”
Been there, felt that: “I’ve been a Nurse Practitioner for about 16 years, primarily in family practice, with a special interest in women’s health. A couple of years ago, I started experiencing perimenopause and sought advice from my primary care physician. He dismissed my concerns and provided few evidence-based treatment options. This experience motivated me to support women in midlife by offering validation and guidance. Having studied its symptoms and treatments extensively, I am now dedicated to helping as many women as possible navigate this stage of life.”
A visit preview: “My patients can expect open minded, open hearted, clear communication, and a judgment-free zone. Transparency is the best way to build trust, encourage sharing, and provide information that can improve their lives and symptoms.”
Your ally in care: “I chose Midi because our mission aligns with my goals as a nurse practitioner: providing the best possible care for women during a time when they have generarally felt unsupported and overwhelmed. I love helping women achieve their goals, feel heard, and seen. I am a lifelong learner so that I can share that knowledge with my patients.”

So many changes occur in women’s bodies that often go unexplained, and I enjoy being the person who can educate women about these transitions and offer support to improve their lives.”
Hormones at the root: “I bring nearly a decade of experience in nursing and nurse practitioner roles exclusively focused on women’s health. I began in labor and delivery, transitioned to infertility, and for the past four years, I’ve specialized in comprehensive gynecological care. My passion lies in understanding the profound impact of hormones on overall well-being, from mood to energy levels.”Empathy born of experience: "When my mother faced breast cancer and had to abruptly halt hormone replacement therapy, I saw her endure years of unmanaged menopausal symptoms. This personal journey ignited my commitment to supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, ensuring they receive the care and resources needed for relief.”Part of a movement: “I am deeply passionate about educating women and fostering meaningful patient connections. It’s incredibly rewarding when patients return feeling more like themselves, empowered with the understanding and support they deserve. Joining the Midi team allows me to deliver comprehensive care and pioneer transformative approaches in women’s health.”
A lifetime in women’s health: “I’ve dedicated my entire career to women’s health, starting as a nurse in labor and delivery and later becoming a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, working in general OB/GYN settings for routine prenatal and gynecological care. The past seven years working at a fertility center have been incredibly rewarding, both teaching me about and fostering a passion for midlife care.”A game changer: “The implementation of telehealth services has significantly improved access for women who often prioritize their families’ needs over their own health. The convenience and comfort of receiving care from home have made a profound difference, especially in the lives of busy women who shoulder the burden of family responsibilities, career goals, and everything in between.”Making time to listen: “Traditional healthcare settings often leave women feeling dismissed, so I ensure my patients have ample time to voice their concerns and ask questions. It’s crucial that they understand and feel comfortable with their care plan. B
Doing it all: “I have been a nurse since 2010 and a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2017. For the past seven years, I’ve been the sole provider of women’s health care at a rural clinic, including well-woman exams and care for premenopausal, menopausal, and postmenopausal women.”An unforgettable patient: “In my first year as a Nurse Practitioner, I cared for a woman in her mid-forties who had avoided mammograms due to past trauma with male providers. After educating her on breast cancer signs, she later came to me with a painless lump, which was diagnosed as breast cancer. Luckily, she was treated promptly and successfully, leading to remission. This experience in my early career reinforced the importance of taking the time with each patient to educate them and provide compassionate care.”Care through connection: “Talking woman to woman, I take pride in being a clinician who genuinely listens, takes your symptoms seriously, and finds solutions. Forging these connections and finding solutions is just as rewarding to me as I hope it is for my patients.”
Expertise across specialties: “I’m a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with seven years of dedicated practice. My focus spans routine obstetrical and gynecological care, specializing in hormone therapy tailored for midlife women. I bring expertise in managing conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility, aiming to provide comprehensive care for women across the country.”A heartfelt turning point: “I’ll always remember the moment a patient thanked me for simply listening. It highlighted a gap in our standard of care; listening attentively should be fundamental. This experience fuels my commitment to redefine patient care, ensuring every woman feels valued and heard.”Here for the transitions: “I’m deeply passionate about cultivating patient relationships and guiding women through vulnerable phases in OB/GYN care. At Midi, I’m thrilled to expand this impact, bridging the gap in midlife women’s healthcare accessibility. It’s ab
Getting care, giving care: “I’ve been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2007 with experience spanning family practice, occupational health, urgent care, and primary care in rural health communities. Two years ago, I began my own journey through perimenopause, and I was lucky enough to have the guidance of a compassionate Nurse Practitioner. I joined Midi to provide the same quality care to women nationwide, helping women understand that they do not have to go through this transition alone.”Finding the source of symptoms: “I emphasize treating women as a whole, focusing on underlying issues rather than just symptoms. I find immense joy in seeing my patients thrive by addressing root causes, leading to happier, healthier lives for them and their loved ones.”Improving together: “Patients can expect a caring, empathetic partner in their health journey when they visit me. I understand the struggles of perimenopause and hormone deficiencies firsthand. The most rewarding part of my practice is witnessing women embrace their power and improve their well-being.”
Care for all, including survivors: “I am an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with more than 13 years of experience. Before joining Midi, I worked extensively in an oncology practice, focusing on cancer survivorship issues."Practicing with heart: “When I was in school to become a Nurse Practitioner, my grandfather was diagnosed with stage four cancer. We took him to multiple surgeons, trying to find the best one available. However, what mattered most to him wasn’t finding a world-renowned surgeon; his biggest concern was whether they would treat him kindly. This experience has stayed with me because it taught me the profound impact of kindness in healthcare.”Centering your needs: “I was drawn to working at Midi because as women, we often carry a lot on our shoulders and neglect our own self-care. We manage countless responsibilities and we tend to put ourselves aside. It’s exciting to be part of Midi where we can support women who are ready to transform their lives, enhance their well-being, and have already taken the courageous step of reaching out for help.”
Care, from the ground up: “I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with 12 years of experience, primarily working in family care, seeing patients from 2 days old to 102 years old. I have naturally shifted towards women’s health due to my passion for nutrition and holistic care. I love using nutrition as a tool to help women manage and prevent chronic disease.”Support when it counts: “My journey in healthcare was inspired by my own experiences as a mother. Navigating postpartum challenges fueled my passion to advocate for women during all their vulnerable periods.”Thriving through menopause: “This specialized care has really been a long time coming. For decades, we have not had the understanding and research to support women during midlife. When I learned about Midi, I was so excited to be a part of breaking down barriers to care, allowing women to not only survive but thrive through menopause.”
Constantly learning: “I have been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner for nearly 12 years. As a first-generation Nigerian immigrant, I come from a family dedicated to serving communities through healthcare. I have wide ranging experience, including primary care, women’s health, dermatology, medical aesthetics, and nephrology. I am currently pursuing a psychiatric mental health certification followed by a doctorate in nursing to further expand my expertise.”Transformative mentorship: “After earning my bachelor’s and master’s in Nursing and degrees in biological sciences and gender and women’s studies, I had a transformative experience working with the lead surgeon at a breast center. I was humbled to assist women during one of the most challenging times of their lives. This experience reaffirmed my commitment to providing compassionate, empowering care.:Cheering you on: “The most rewarding aspect of caring for midlife women is partnering in their journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Menopause can be challenging but also offers tremendous growth. The resilience and wisdom of the women I serve continually inspire me. Walking alongside them as they navigate midlife changes and witnessing their emergence as strong, empowered advocates for their health and happiness is the greatest reward.”
Wide ranging experience: “I began my journey in healthcare in 1999 as a labor and delivery nurse, where I developed a deep passion for women’s health and eventually became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2008. I’ve gained diverse experience working in family medicine, urgent care, and plastic surgery. My personal experience with perimenopause has driven me to focus on supporting women through this transition, ensuring they are heard and not dismissed.”A guide you can trust: “My greatest passion lies in patient education, informing patients about their health, treatment options, and preventive measures. Shared decision-making is the cornerstone of my practice—it’s crucial to helping women feel their best. Joining Midi was a natural choice for me because of its dedication to women’s health and the menopause transition.”Hearing every concern: “I pride myself on being an exceptional listener. Many midlife women feel ignored and unheard, especially regarding their perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms. My approach is to listen attentively, understand their concerns, and build a comfortable rapport. Together, we develop a treatment plan that they comprehend and are committed to. Patients can expect knowledge, empathy, and a supportive ear from me.”
All about women’s health: “As a board-certified Doctor of Nursing Practice with 39 years of experience, I specialize in primary care for women. My passion for women’s health extends to my certification as a clinical densitometrist, focusing on bone health and osteoporosis care, diagnosis, treatment, and management.”Hearing you out: “Early in my career, I noticed the limited time women had during visits, which led me to create a dedicated women's health practice. I provide ample time for each patient, ensuring they can share their concerns fully. I’m passionate about perimenopausal and menopausal care, which starts with educating women about their changing bodies and offering targeted solutions.”The rewards of good care: “The most rewarding part of my work is seeing the positive changes in perimenopausal and menopausal women following my recommendations. Their feedback about feeling more balanced and back to their normal selves is incredibly fulfilling.”
Female-focused: “I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner for nearly eight years, with the last five years focused on women’s health. My career began in internal medicine, but my passion for sexual and reproductive health led me to specialize in these areas. It’s fulfilling to help women navigate their health journeys, especially during significant transitions like menopause.”An early direction: “My passion for medicine began in childhood when I saw the compassionate care nurses provided to my sibling in the hospital. Their attentiveness and inclusion of my family in the care process inspired me to pursue a career in health. I knew I wanted to work in a field where I could offer similar support to others.”In it together: “I strive to create a warm and inclusive environment where patients feel heard and involved in their treatment plans. It’s rewarding to help women understand their bodies, improve their health, and become better versions of themselves. Providing education and support empowers them to take control of their well-being, which is the most satisfying aspect of my work.”
My care journey: “I began my journey in health with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology, driven by a passion for wellness. Nursing felt like a natural progression to direct patient care. After six years as an Registered Nurse in oncology and bone marrow transplant, I earned my master’s in nursing and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. For the past six years, I’ve worked in primary care focused on women’s health, weight management, chronic diseases, and preventive health.”A personal turning point: “The birth of my daughter profoundly influenced my approach to patient care. Experiencing the emotional and hormonal shifts of pregnancy and postpartum first hand made me acutely aware of the gaps in women’s healthcare during these transitions. This experience fueled my commitment to addressing the unique needs of women during significant life changes.”Why I chose Midi: “I’m excited to empower women with knowledge about their own bodies, particularly around midlife changes. My goal is to be the provider who listens, helps women reclaim their voices, and navigates them through the complexities of midlife and menopause with comprehensive care.”
A champion for women: “I am a Certified Menopause Practitioner as well as an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. My passion and work is deeply influenced by research on gendered ageism, and my care focuses on empowering women as they get older. I hope to serve as an advocate for my patients, helping them understand that they deserve the best care, should never feel invisible, and should be confident in their health journey as they age.Her own health struggle: “My path in healthcare was shaped by a personal battle with breast cancer during my advanced practice studies. Balancing treatment, work, and education taught me the critical importance of compassionate, attentive care. My medical oncologist listened deeply and provided exceptional support, inspiring me to emulate this in my own practice.”You’re not alone: “As a midlife woman myself, I feel a sense of sisterhood with this strong bunch. Working with women allows me to witness their small, iterative steps toward becoming their best selves. My role as a clinician allows me to be an integral part of this growth, learning from my patients as much as they learn from me.”
An inspired life change: “My journey into healthcare was inspired by my mom’s battle with breast cancer, which prompted a career shift from advertising to healthcare. I graduated from Columbia University in 2014 with a specialization in women’s health and have since dedicated myself to caring for women across their lifespan as a Nurse Practitioner.”Safe space: “I truly believe that the patient-provider relationship is a partnership. I strive to build a trusting connection with my patients, where they feel comfortable discussing sensitive topics. Together, we create individualized care plans that empower them to feel their best.”Putting you first: “One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is helping women realize the importance of self-care. Women often prioritize others over themselves, and I love showing them that taking care of their own needs is crucial for their well-being and for those around them. Providing women with the support and solutions they need to feel their best is what motivates me every day.”
My journey to Midi: “After transitioning from education to nursing, I’ve proudly served as a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for eight years. My expertise spans sexual and reproductive health across all stages of life, starting at a sexual health clinic. It was there that I first realized the profound impact of compassionate care.”Feel heard, feel better: “Every day, I’m reminded of the privilege of earning my patients’ trust, especially during vulnerable moments. My philosophy centers on patient-centered care, where listening is key. I believe women know their bodies best and deserve providers who listen attentively and have the specialized knowledge to address their concerns effectively.”A partner and a teacher: “I’m dedicated to fostering women’s body literacy through education and empowering them to advocate confidently in their healthcare journeys. I prioritize listening, supporting women through challenges, and collaboratively addressing their health concerns. I joined Midi to help ensure that every woman has access to empowering care.”
Two decades of dedication: “I have been in healthcare for over 20 years, including the past six years as a Nurse Practitioner. While my education is in family medicine, my true passion lies in women’s care. Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and working towards my MS Certification, I am dedicated to understanding and addressing the unique healthcare needs of women.”Welcome to your second season: “My own experience with menopause began around age 45 when I started feeling different—gaining weight, losing energy, feeling anxious, and experiencing unexplained pain. It took me four years to realize that menopause was the cause. I understand firsthand how treatment including hormone replacement therapy can be transformative. These options offer a ‘second season’ in life, free from the struggles many of our mothers and grandmothers faced in silence.”Heartfelt care: “When women visit me, they can expect to be heard and understood. I listen to all symptoms, ask thorough questions, and treat each patient as an individual. Seeing my patients regain their energy and joy is the most rewarding part of my work. It’s about making a tangible, positive difference in their lives.”
Health and advocacy: “As a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner since 2017, I’ve dedicated over seven years to caring for women. For the past few years I’ve focused on addressing pelvic floor dysfunction and improving the quality of life for my patients. My passion has always been in advocating for women and helping them find their voice.”The power of knowing your body: “Growing up with limited reproductive health education, I have always had a passion for educating women about their bodies. I became a sexual health educator in college, and a Nurse Practitioner to ensure no one else feels the confusion I experienced. Joining Midi allows me to help fill another knowledge gap, helping educate and support women through midlife, a time that can leave you feeling so lost.”Person-first, always: “I prioritize treating patients as whole individuals, not just clinical cases. My focus is on creating a comfortable, respectful environment where patients feel heard and empowered. Telehealth allows me to meet women where they’re at, offering personalized care and collaboration.”
A tradition of care: “I come from a family of nurses, and my mother is a Nurse Practitioner in women’s health. Her dedication and collaborative approach has shaped how I care for my patients. My journey to Midi: “My 25-plus years of experience in women’s health started as a certified nursing assistant. Now I’m a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. I’ve had the privilege of working with women across all ages, and I joined Midi to collaborate with a dedicated group that values communication and teamwork to achieve excellent patient outcomes.”100% here for you: “I am humbled to support patients and their families through personalized care, especially during the challenging phases of menopause and perimenopause. I provide a nonjudgmental environment where women can freely express themselves and explore options that enhance their well-being, ensuring they leave feeling better than when they arrived.”Access and partnership: “I was drawn to Midi because of the personalized care we provide, journeying with women during one of the most challenging phases of their lives. I love that we accept insurance and offer ample time for each visit, allowing for active listening and shared decision-making. It’s a joy to be part of a team that makes such a significant impact on women’s lives.”
Helping people where they are: “I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 24 years of experience in women’s health, family practice, primary care, and advanced primary care. Access is near and dear to me, and telemedicine allows us to reach patients who may not have otherwise had time or proximity to the treatment they need. I am so excited to be at the forefront of revolutionary care.”Bringing heart to every visit: “I absolutely love my patients. I love being engaged with them, getting to know them, and creating treatment plans together that work for them. Shared decision-making is unique to my practice. It's not about me telling them what to do but figuring it out together. My patients can expect my dedicated attention during our time together, prompt responses, and a clinician genuinely invested in their well-being.”From Midi patient to Midi clinician: “I chose Midi when I was initially looking for treatment for myself—specifically hormone replacement therapy for hot flashes, night sweats, and brain fog. Discovering Midi, I realized that not only did I want treatment for myself, but I also wanted to provide this same care to my patients.”
In the hands of an expert: “I became a Family Nurse Practitioner nearly four decades ago. My focus began in emergency and critical care, but shifted to women’s health about 15 years ago when I witnessed my mother and grandmother’s struggles with perimenopause and menopausal symptoms. This revealed a significant care gap, sparking my passion for women’s health.”With you every step of the way: “I imagine myself walking alongside each patient, navigating their menopause journey together. It’s a journey of persistence and discovery, where we explore treatment options together. I take the time to listen and develop a personalized treatment plan, adapting as we go.”Radically personal: “Each woman’s experience with perimenopause and menopause is uniquely her own, and cookie cutter healthcare simply does not work for menopausal women. Joining the Midi team has been incredibly fulfilling; here, I can make a real difference in the lives of my patients, offering personalized care that respects their individuality and enhances their well-being.”
Bridging the gap: “As a Family Nurse Practitioner with eight years of experience, and 12 years as a Registered Nurse, my journey in women’s health began in family medicine. I often saw midlife women feeling dismissed and undervalued by their healthcare providers. This revealed a significant care gap, inspiring me to dedicate my career to meeting their unique needs and ensuring they receive the respectful and comprehensive care they deserve.”Meeting you with empathy: “I chose to work at Midi because of our evidence-based clinical approach. It’s incredibly rewarding to provide women with reassurance and build meaningful rapport with them. I love validating their feelings and ensuring they feel heard and respected throughout their midlife healthcare journey. It’s a privilege to support them with a foundation of trust and understanding.”A moment to embrace: “In my patient visits, I prioritize helping women understand what’s happening in their bodies. Knowledge truly is power, and menopause can be an empowering time in life. My goal is to equip my patients with the information and treatments they need to regain a sense of normalcy and thrive during this transition.”
Two perspectives: “My care approach is informed by my experience both as clinician and patient partner. With over 18 years of experience in healthcare, including roles in family practice, urgent care, and telehealth, I have dedicated the past five years to serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner. On the patient side, I have spent the past 9 years navigating my husband’s metastatic cancer journey, which has radically changed my perspective on what compassionate, quality care means.”In it with you: “As a menopausal woman myself, I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges and surprises that come with this life stage. Transitioning at 50 after an elective hysterectomy, I realized how symptoms are often overlooked or misunderstood in women’s health. My passion lies in bridging this gap, diving deep into protocols and research to provide informed, empathetic care.”Learning for impact: “What drives me daily is refining my care approach—always asking, ‘How can we do better?’ I find joy in learning and applying the latest advancements, ensuring my patients receive the most effective treatments. The greatest reward comes from knowing I’ve made a tangible difference in their lives.”
An experience that started a career: “As an undergraduate student, I decided to pursue a career in nursing after spending a summer working with children in South Africa. For the past five years, I’ve been a Family Nurse Practitioner and an onboarding clinician trainer for the past three. Joining Midi to provide quality telehealth care to women is so exciting to me.”Education that never ends: “What excites me most about my profession is the constant learning. Every day brings new protocols, studies, and insights from colleagues and patients. I chose Midi because it offers a unique specialization in women’s health, particularly menopause and perimenopause. Midi provides the perfect opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills in this vital, yet underexplored, field.”Amazing resilience: “Our bodies endure incredible changes, and many women might not fully understand these experiences unless they’ve lived them. As I continue to learn and experience these changes myself and with my patients, I am in absolute awe of women’s bodies. I am committed to helping every woman understand, appreciate, and continue to support their health amidst this change.”
Deep expertise and dedication: “I bring over a decade of experience as a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. My practice spans a diverse range of areas, from oncology care to comprehensive women’s health, including hormone management and survivorship. Certified since 2009 with additional credentials in Advanced Menopause Management from 2014, I am committed to delivering tailored care that addresses both medical needs and personal comfort.”A clinician’s journey through menopause: “My journey in medicine has been profoundly influenced by personal experiences, particularly navigating menopause alongside friends who felt dismissed by healthcare providers. This firsthand struggle fueled my dedication to obtaining specialized certifications and empowering women through informed, compassionate care. I strive to ensure every woman feels heard and supported during this transformative phase.”Reclaiming lives: “The most rewarding aspect of caring for midlife women is witnessing their empowerment. Many have endured health issues long overlooked or minimized. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see them regain vitality and joy through tailored treatments that truly meet their needs. My practice revolves around listening attentively and advocating tirelessly for their well-being, ensuring they not only function well but thrive in every aspect of their lives.”
A dynamic career in changing times: “With over six years as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a background as an Registered Nurse in cardiac and neuro ICUs, my journey has been both diverse and fulfilling. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2018, beginning my practice in outpatient internal medicine and shifting to telehealth during the pandemic. Joining Midi has allowed me to combine my passion for women’s health with the convenience and innovation of telemedicine.”Getting to know you: “I prioritize building personal connections with my patients. As a mom of two, I love hearing about their life events, families, even pets. This rapport helps establish trust and provide comprehensive care: looking beyond their symptoms to address the whole woman and her overall well being.”Continuous learning: “I love women’s health and the dynamic nature of healthcare. Every day brings new challenges and learning opportunities. I thrive on understanding the full picture of a patient’s health, emphasizing health maintenance and preventative medicine. At Midi, I found a perfect blend of telemedicine and my passion for women’s health.”
Experience that empowers: “With nearly 18 years as a Nurse Practitioner, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting women’s health. My journey began in the neonatal intensive care unit, where I developed a passion for nurturing life. As a Nurse Practitioner, I specialize in evidence-based bioidentical hormone therapy, credentialed through World Link Medical and the Academy of Preventive and Innovative Medicine.”A personal mission: “My commitment to women’s health is deeply personal. Having lost my mother to bilateral breast cancer at just 21, I’ve made it my mission to explore ways to reduce health risks for women. Telehealth allows me to reach women who might otherwise go without quality care.”Listening and understanding: “Women often carry the weight of caregiving for others. It’s essential to create a space where they feel heard and understood. I often find myself helping a patient understand that the changes she’s going through aren’t in her head, but part of their physiology and hormonal health. I aim to provide the compassionate care that every woman deserves.”
Part of a change in women’s health: “I’ve served as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years, primarily focused on obstetrics and prenatal care. My journey began when the Women's Health Initiative study was underway, and I witnessed firsthand the fears surrounding hormone therapy that came out of those initial, misleading findings. Now, with new research revealing the safety and efficacy of HRT, my career has come full circle and I am now empowered to help access safe, effective, and necessary menopause care.”Empathy through experience: “As I face midlife changes alongside my patients, I understand the confusion and challenges they encounter while juggling careers, families, and aging parents. It's a time where women often feel unsettled, not themselves, grappling with the unfamiliar shifts in their bodies. My goal is to make sure every woman feels heard and supported during this transition. Three guiding principles: “Courage, compassion, and competence shape my approach to women’s midlife health. I’m excited—and tremendously honored—to provide a safe space for women to discuss their concerns.”
Compassionate care for all: “I've worked as a registered nurse in the ER and ICU, and transitioned to a Family Nurse Practitioner 10 years ago. My primary focus has been on women's health, OB/GYN care, and college health. I have extensive experience with patients seeking OB/GYN care who identify as LGBTQ+ and BIPOC. As a Spanish speaker, I connect deeply with Spanish-speaking patients, and love providing care in their native language.”Hear to help: “What sets me apart from traditional care is my commitment to truly listening to my patients and giving them my full attention. Patients often tell me I'm the first provider to really listen to them. In a patient visit with me, you can expect thorough, compassionate care based on evidence-based guidelines and shared decision-making.”Informed support for every concern: “Hormonal changes affecting attention, energy, sleep, libido, and body confidence are often overlooked due to a lack of knowledge about midlife care. So filling that gap by addressing women’s concerns with the latest care methods is incredibly rewarding.”
Heart in women’s health: “I started my journey in medicine over 25 years ago, beginning in ICU and heart transplant before transitioning into OB care, where I worked in labor and delivery for over 17 years. This is where my passion for women's health began, as I enjoyed being part of families' birthing experiences and supporting them through postpartum. ”Hands on experience: “My passion for treating perimenopausal and menopausal women stems from my experience working in a gynecology office. Initially, I felt unprepared to address the needs of midlife women. Over the past year, I’ve dedicated myself to learning all I need to know, especially since I am now experiencing hormonal symptoms myself.”A trust-based approach: “I love getting to know my patients and pride myself on building trust through unique human connections. My approach with patients is always to find common ground and ensure their concerns are heard and acknowledged. I talk candidly with my patients and educate them on their bodies, making them active participants in their treatment plans.”
Battling misinformation: “Seeing friends struggle with perimenopause and menopausal symptoms without understanding what they were experiencing propelled me into a deeper dive into women's midlife health. There is so much misinformation out there. As a Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate and 16 years of experience, I am driven to help women understand the current research to navigate these challenging stages of life with support.”By women, for women: “I am passionate about empowering women at various stages of their lives, addressing symptoms that once seemed unmanageable. I chose Midi because of our team of strong, educated women who are at the forefront of bringing new evidence-based practices to our patients. As a team of healthcare professionals, we have the research and resources to enhance the quality of life and longevity for women across the board.”Here for you: “Working with Midi allows me to help women feel comfortable in their own skin, which is incredibly rewarding. Patient satisfaction is paramount in my approach to care. I listen to patients, making sure to understand their goals, and address their questions and concerns. Together, we determine the best path forward, so I know they’re happy with their treatment plan.”
Finding purpose in women’s care: “I’ve spent nearly a decade as a Certified Nurse Practitioner, and spent the last eight years specializing in women's health. My journey began in family medicine and evolved through an OB/GYN office, where I truly discovered my niche. As a woman, mother, and nurse, I love caring for and connecting with women, helping them feel their best.”Celebrating every success: “The most fulfilling aspect of my work is seeing women regain their sense of self. At follow-ups, when patients share how much their symptoms have improved, it’s a powerful reminder of why I do what I do. I value evidence-based practice and feel privileged to be part of their journey toward renewed vitality and joy.”My commitment to patients: “In every visit, patients can expect to be heard. I prioritize creating a safe space where their feelings are validated, and they know they’re not alone on this journey. My goal is to provide reassurance and support, tailoring treatments to meet their unique needs.”
Experience and dedication: “I’ve been a nurse for 16 years, starting in the surgical intensive care unit and progressing to become a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Over the past 13 years, I’ve focused on family practice, women’s health, weight management, and urgent care.”A survivor’s perspective: “Being a two-time cancer survivor has profoundly shaped my approach to care. I don’t remember my first bout at just 10 months old, but my second experience after my first semester of nursing school is vivid. From providers to housekeeping, every interaction during my treatment left an impact. I experienced medically induced menopause to preserve fertility, which makes me deeply empathetic to my patients’ journeys.”Putting women first: “I’m passionate about providing comprehensive care, addressing women as whole people. Midlife women often put themselves last, and I know firsthand how impactful the moments are when women feel prioritized and cared for. At Midi, my patients can expect my undivided attention and a genuine desire to help.”
An overlooked life stage: “Education is what led me to healthcare. Originally in school to become a paramedic, I found my passion in nursing, teaching patients about their bodies. My journey began with three years in the ICU, followed by a rewarding decade as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Working in family practice, I had lots of women come in experiencing menopausal and hormonal changes, feeling unheard or dismissed. Recognizing a pressing need in this area, I joined Midi.”Listening changes everthing: “Late one day about five years ago, I noticed a woman with a high depression score in her chart. Instead of rushing through, I sat down and asked her if she wanted to talk. She broke down, and said that no one had taken the time to listen. Every time I see a patient, I am reminded of this encounter. Sometimes, just being there can make all the difference.”Partnership with patients: “I’m most passionate about building strong, trusting relationships and giving my patients the autonomy to make informed decisions about their health. I love educating them in an understandable way, ensuring we work together as a team to find the best course of care.”
A journey to preventative health: “I started my career as a health coach and exercise physiologist, before going back to school for my Bachelor's in Nursing. Over eight years, I gained experience in trauma, transplant, and plastic surgery units. Working in hospitals, I witnessed lots of preventable conditions that motivated me to focus on proactive wellness. Now, as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I’m passionate about preventing chronic diseases through education.”Insurance coverage matters: “I love working for a female-founded organization that is dedicated to helping women navigate their health regardless of location and cost. Many clinics do not take health insurance for hormone replacement or integrative wellness. I love that Midi makes HRT accessible and affordable to all women and addresses their concerns with evidence-based approaches.”The best care comes from listening: “As a mother, Nurse Practitioner, and military spouse, I recognize the intricate nature of women's health and the challenges of managing life’s complexities. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution, and my goal is to address health holistically, listening to my patients and alleviating their concerns.”
Dr. Osiecki is an Internal Medicine physician with more than 25 years of experience caring for adult patients. Prior to joining Midi, she co-owned and managed an award-winning independent primary care practice with a focus on women’s health, preventative health, and medically complex patients. What she loved about running her own practice: “I was able to spend enough time with patients to really understand their medical problems, and develop a rich appreciation for their unique lives,” she says. Her attention to detail and emphasis on personal connection make her a perfect fit for menopause care, and Midi. “I’ve always loved working with women in menopause, an underappreciated and poorly understood life stage. So when I learned about Midi I was so excited,” Dr. Osiecki says. “Menopause is a moment in medicine as a practicing doctor where you get to say to patients, ‘I have really good news for you! You don’t have to give up your sense of wellbeing, your sex life, your job, your sanity—because your symptoms are so treatable. We can make all of this better.”
Passion meets practice: “With nearly 18 years of experience, I focus on perimenopausal and menopausal care. I specialize in internal medicine, and hold certifications in geriatrics and psychiatric mental health, allowing me to address both acute and chronic conditions effectively. Over time, I’ve seen the vital role of preventive action, especially through hormone therapy, in reducing risks for osteoporosis, heart disease, and diabetes.”You’re not “just aging”: “Many women are told that their symptoms are just a part of aging, and treatable symptoms go untreated. The most rewarding part of my work is helping women enhance their quality of life. I help alleviate symptoms through evidence based care, and support them in feeling better every step of the way.”Getting to know your body: “Listening to my patients and helping them understand their bodies is at the core of my practice. When women understand their health, they become more engaged with their care plans.”
