There for the changes: “I initially pursued family practice before transitioning to focus on women's health, aiding them through life’s changes for the past 22 years. I’ve paid particular attention to women’s midlife care, recognizing that many practitioners are either inexperienced or lack the knowledge necessary to treat women with hormone therapy. To fill this gap, I have educated myself in midlife gynecology, integrative medicine, and hormone therapy.”Menopause empathy through experience: “At age 40, I had a pituitary tumor removed, which threw me into menopause. I remember feeling quite old: I struggled with hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, joint pain, and mood swings. Now having been treated with hormone replacement therapy for about 10 years, I can safely say that it was the best decision I ever made. I regained my zest for life. I’m a better provider today because I’m able to empathize with women who are going through that.”Your navigator: “Menopause can feel daunting, but there’s solace knowing experienced care is available, guiding you to embrace this phase gracefully.”
