Anchored in women’s health: “I’ve had the opportunity to practice in various areas of health care. As a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, I have had the opportunity to delve into many areas including surgery, cancer, and pediatrics. But I’ve always gravitated back to women’s health.”Developing a holistic understanding: “In my approach to patient care, I prioritize creating an environment where individuals feel comfortable letting their defenses down and freely expressing their concerns. I work with the mind, body, and spirit to understand patients’ health history and goals. My patients can expect a listening ear, cheerleader, partner, and guide while working towards their goals.”The domino effect of self-care: “Women often act as caregivesr and are expected to be the support for their partners, aging parents, and children. As a result, they tend to put their own care on the back burner. So, by prioritizing women’s care, we help maintain the health of whole families and communities.”
