My journey to Midi: “I have been a nurse since 1992 and a Nurse Practitioner since 1998, with the bulk of my career spent in an OB/GYN office. I have seen women of all ages, but found my niche in taking care of women in perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. That’s what led me to Midi.”Care is power: “Oftentimes in midlife, we feel like our bodies are betraying us, and it can be very frustrating to feel out of control. By joining with an expert health care provider, you will have access to high quality evidence-based medicine and therapeutic interventions that can give you back some control over your body.”Compassionate guidance through cancer risk: “I have a deep interest in helping women navigate reproductive cancer risk. My mom passed away from ovarian cancer in 2019 and I underwent surgically induced menopause. There are many implications that come along with this, and I’m now seen by a high-risk breast cancer clinic. My care has been shaped by a deep empathy for those with high cancer risk or who have cared for loved ones with reproductive cancer.”
