Team Bio

Jacquelyn Barnhart, MSN, MSB, FNP-BC, Midi Clinician

A lifelong calling: “I grew up surrounded by family members in medicine, fascinated by the science of the human body. Starting as a nursing assistant, I cherished improving patients’ quality of life, which inspired me to become a Registered Nurse and later a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have experience in many care settings, from family practice to post-op ICU for open heart surgery patients.”

Healthcare is everyone’s right: “I am particularly passionate about expanding access to care. I worked for years in rural and frontier settings, where people often had to drive two hours over mountain passes in the middle of winter for appointments. I am excited that Midi ensures quality virtual care is accessible for women across the country.”

Juggling it all: “Women truly are the backbone of families, companies, and communities. They are constantly balancing tasks every hour of every day, and they excel at it. However, when little pieces become more challenging in midlife, it can be very frustrating. Knowing that there are experts who understand what you are going through, who are there to listen and help, is incredibly important.”
