What to Expect from Midi’s New AgeWell Visit: A Letter From Our Chief Medical Officer

I’m excited to share that we’re expanding the ways we support women’s health—with a new expert service: the AgeWell Visit.

At Midi, we began by focusing on perimenopause and menopause because we knew women were being underserved. Too few clinicians have hormone expertise. Too many women with debilitating symptoms go unheard. Midi was founded to fill a long-standing gap in healthcare—a lack of expert, compassionate, and science-based care for perimenopause and menopause. And we remain deeply committed to helping women navigate midlife hormone changes, manage symptoms, and feel more like themselves again.

But we also know that midlife is about more than menopause-symptom relief—it's when women need to start thinking seriously about their long-term health. During these years, the risks for heart disease, cancer, dementia, and other chronic conditions begin to rise. And while these challenges become more imminent, many women still don’t have access to clear, science-backed guidance on what they can do to stay healthy in the decades ahead.

That’s where Midi’s AgeWell Visit comes in.

We dug deep into the growing body of longevity science to identify what’s truly useful, and created a personalized, insurance-covered visit that makes this knowledge accessible. Our goal is to help you feel your best today while taking smart steps to stay strong, sharp, and vibrant for years to come.

I worked hard with our clinical team to develop this visit, because I believe longevity care shouldn’t just be for biohackers and billionaires. It should be designed for real life and built for women—reflecting the unique ways women age and the specific health risks we face. Women account for two-thirds of all Alzheimer’s patients. We’re four times more likely than men to have autoimmune diseases. We experience more fractures, more osteoporosis, and make up two-thirds of nursing home residents.

The good news? There’s plenty we can do to minimize our risks. And it starts with one telehealth visit.

In your AgeWell Visits, you and your Midi clinician will explore your health, lab tests, and personal goals. Our focus: screenings, prevention, and proactive strategies. If you already have a primary care doctor covering your basics (like mammograms and annual labs), we’ll lay out next steps you can take to support long-term health. If you don’t, we’ll help you get those essentials done too.

As always, your AgeWell clinician will make recommendations informed by the evidence—ranging from lifestyle tweaks, to supplements, to prescriptions, or a combination. We prioritize options covered by insurance but can also walk you through promising, science-backed tools that may fall outside of traditional coverage.

Our goal is to add many healthy years to your lifespan—helping you feel strong, capable, and confident in your wellbeing, today and tomorrow.

Thank you for entrusting Midi with your care. We’re honored to walk this longer, stronger path with you.

Warmly,
Dr. Kathleen Jordan
