Experience across generations: I’ve been a Nurse Practitioner since 1993, so my passion for women’s health has led me to care for several generations of women. I began as a labor and delivery nurse before pursuing a Title X Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program in the early ‘90s. At Midi, I am excited to provide quality care to underserved and undertreated midlife women.”Providing the care our mothers wished for: “My mother suffered severely from endometriosis. She endured excruciating menstrual cycles, pain during intercourse, infertility, and a traumatic hysterectomy at 50. Her experience fueled my desire to provide compassionate care, making sure others don’t have to endure similar hardships. My goal is to empower women to live their best lives, free from the debilitating effects of conditions like endometriosis.”Shifting the focus: “Midi is like a dream come true. Women’s health is often centered around prenatal care and deliveries, and less attention is given to women’s gynecological issues after their childbearing years. I joined Midi to address all of the issues that may be dismissed in traditional medical settings, and help women get the care they deserve.”
