Connecting the dots: "I began my healthcare career in 2011 in respiratory care, transitioned into nursing in 2016, and moved into an advanced practice role in 2020. Along the way, I’ve worked in hospital settings, case management, OB/GYN, pain management, primary care, and urgent care. Across every setting, I kept seeing the same pattern: midlife women struggling with insomnia, anxiety, brain fog, palpitations, and joint pain—yet being told their labs were normal. Perimenopause was rarely part of the conversation. Once I recognized hormonal transition as the common thread, I knew this was the work I wanted to focus on."
Listening differently: "One patient in her late 40s came to me convinced she was burning out. She was high-performing and driven, but exhausted and not feeling like herself. After multiple normal evaluations, no one had asked about her cycle. When we connected her symptoms to perimenopause and started treatment, she told me she felt like herself again. That moment reinforced how powerful it is to truly listen, connect the dots, and validate what women are experiencing."
Care that feels proactive: "At Midi, I focus on thoughtful, evidence-based care that treats the whole picture, not just lab results. My goal is simple: I want women to feel heard, understood, and confident in their treatment plan. Midlife is a transition, not a decline, and with the right support, women can feel strong, clear, and fully themselves again."
