Team Bio

Sylvia DeLay, WHNP, Midi Clinician

Hormone expertise: “I’m a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of experience, primarily in a traditional OB/GYN setting. My clinical focus is on hormonal changes across a woman’s lifespan, from adolescence to menopause, and how they affect overall well-being. I hold certifications in postpartum support and international advanced psychopharmacology prescribing. Additionally, I have advanced training in utilizing testosterone for treating perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms.”

This clinician’s motivation: “Before becoming a healthcare provider, I often accompanied my mother to her medical appointments. I vividly recall the rushed visits, her concerns dismissed, and the frustration of not finding the help she needed. This experience deeply influences my approach to patient care. I prioritize spending quality time with patients, ensuring they feel heard and understood, and collaboratively devising treatment plans tailored to their needs and symptoms.”

Joining the care revolution: “As a clinician, I’m passionate about revolutionizing healthcare to prioritize patient needs. I chose Midi because I’ve witnessed women in their forties and fifties dismissed by other providers, told their symptoms were just part of aging. I joined Midi because of their dedication to helping women thrive during this pivotal time.”
